HALF MARATHON COURSE MAP
 

RACE DAY INFORMATION

  • The start and finish lines for the event will be at the Homewood City Hall Plaza (SOHO) 
  • 5:00 AM - Late Registration (IF SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE) - Will close promptly at 6:30 AM - Rosewood Hall Empire Room
  • 6:00 AM - Early start for Half Marathon walkers - This group still must be able to finish the race by approximately 10:30 AM
  • 6:30 AM - Half Marathon start
  • 6:35 AM - 4.13K start
  • 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Finish Line "GRACE Festival" with the Rhythm Mister, Steve McClendon.  Food and TEAM 413 Gear will be available.
  • 9:00 AM - Awards Presentation - Awards to be given for both the Half Marathon and the 4.13K Run/Walk: OVERALL MALE & FEMALE, OVERALL MASTERS MALE & FEMALE, and TWO deep in MALE & FEMALE 10 year age groupings
  • Virtual Race Participants are NOT eligible for awards
  • COURSE TIME LIMIT: 3 HOURS - approximately a 13:45 Minute Pace (from the time the last participant crosses start line) -- However, walkers will be able to start at 6:00 AM per information above
  • BOTH races will be chip timed events
  • Dasani Water and Powerade will be provided at the start, finish, and at 6 stations on the course. "Pick-up and Go" food for all participants will be at the runner secure zone at the finish line area. We invite you to enjoy the celebration of your accomplishments at the Finish Line celebration.....food, fellowship, and fun!
  • Restrooms are located on the first floor of city hall (plaza level) and porta potties will be located in the parking lot behind the building.

  • PARKING on Race Day: There is ample parking around Homewood City Hall and Soho Square. We will post a map soon. For now, you may go to the link connected to the picture below. 

  • WEATHER Information: If weather conditions present a threat to the safety of our participants, staff, or volunteers; race officials and/or government officials have the authority to delay, postpone, or cancel the event OR alter the course in such a way as to offer participants a safe venue. Should this occur, unfortunately, there will be no refunds of registration fees. If weather permits, all races will go on as planned -- rain or shine! Temperatures can vary greatly in Central Alabama in April. Please train and plan accordingly.



Start and Finish Lines will be adjacent to Homewood City Hall and Plaza.
